Brianna's Birthday

Brianna's friend, Emma, with Leah, Brianna on her birthday, her hello kitty cake.

The last picture is all of the kids who came with our home-made pinata.
These are pictures of Brianna's 5th birthday party on April 18th (her actual birthday). I can't believe our oldest is 5. We don't have friend parties for them every year so Kate and Sam are a little jealous but they still will have a family party. We borrowed 2 inflatables, had 2 pinatas (one we homemade), and a hello kitty theme. They loved helping make the cake and cupcakes. We couldn't have asked for better weather. It was dry all week which dried out our yard and the weather was perfect the day of the party. Brianna had so much fun the day of the party and was so excited she had a hard time going to sleep that night. Thanks to my parents for helping a ton Friday and Saturday to help us fix the swing set and get the house and yard ready and to Heath's parents and our friend for the inflatables!!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter Everyone!
We have celebrated with 3 egg hunts this year with play group, my parents small town of fair play, and my dad's egg hunt in the front yard. For the first year in a while none of the kids were scared of the Easter bunny although Katelyn thought sitting next to him was close enough. Brianna noticed the Easter bunnies were different and asked why the one at Wal Mart had a bun (which was sticking out the back of the costume).

The kids had a wonderful Easter. They were so excited to see what was in their baskets and see all the relatives. We celebrated the weekend with my brothers Tim and Joe and their girlfriend Lauren and fiance Crystal. We all met at my parents lake house in SC. The kids had a fun boat ride and lots of egg hunts this year. My dad decorated the tree with eggs like his parents used to do when we were little. Dad loves holidays and it brought back memories. Heath's parents left a special treat for the kids when we arrived home. They thought the Easter bunny had come to our house too. What wonderful grandparents, aunts, and uncles the kids have!!
