Leah's 18 months

Leah is 18 months today. She is at one of our favorite ages. She talks a lot and says really cute things. She copies everything her siblings say asking me "what" when I tell her to come here or "why" when I say no. (Some not so nice habits) Her favorite thing to say is "Aw man" anytime she drops anything or anything goes wrong. She is totally fearless jumping off furniture or into the pool without anyone there to catch her. We are scared of her teenage years and wondering how many emergency room visits we will have. She is so sweet with Alex giving him tons of kisses. As I am writing this she is taking all the movies out of the cabinet and all the books off the shelf (again) so I will leave it at that.

Lakehouse Fun!

Alex starting a smile and grandma and Brianna looking for shells on "glitter island". We went to the lake for a long weekend at grandma and grandpa's house. We took the boat out for some rides and went to a little island to spend some time on our last day there. We love going to the lake.

Joey and Crystal and my sister and family also came to the lake.

Fun at Mimi and Pops House

Heath's parents live in Rome and have a pool so it is fun to go swimming there in the summer. Here are pics with cousins. We celebrated all the summer bdays.

More Alex (1 mo.)

Alex is almost 2 months now. Here are some pics from the last month. I can't believe how big he is getting! He is a collicky fussy baby but does well with frequent nursings. He loves bathtime. He is actually quiet and smiles.

Joey and Crystal's wedding

Here are a couple pictures from my brother Joey and Crystal's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding at St. Thomas Moore church in Decataur. We are so excited Crystal is now officially in the family.
Brianna and Katelyn were the flower girls and held hands walking down the aisle with Sam the ring bearer right behind them. They did a great job although Katelyn cried twice before making it down the aisle. She is so shy!! She made it down the aisle without crying but when I said "good job Katelyn you made it without crying" she said, "but I had tears in my eyes". She was so excited before the wedding but was nervous at the last minute. I don't know how she did her ballet and tap performances in front of hundreds of people without being nervous.
The pictures are courtesy of my mom because unfortunately we had a 2 week old and fussy 16 month old and did not take a single picture the whole time we were there.
